Since train track stacks flat, you’ll find that you can fit quite a lot of stuff in this bin. This storage bin has “durable, locking latches and a comfortable handle for secure one-handed carrying”, though when it’s full of trains and track it’s a little heavy for the youngest engineers to carry by themselves. A see-through bottom allows for easy identification of the contents. Multiple units of the same size are stackable. We really like the hinged lid, secure latch, and integral carrying handles. The attached lid allows for easy access to trains but won’t get misplaced when the bin is opened. Unlike the picture, our current stock has clear lids and slate-blue bottoms. The slate-blue bottom is the same color as the lid pictured on the model 1896 above. Its see-through lid allows for easy identification of contents. Multiple units of the same size stack neatly, but if you needed more than one of these for trains then we'd like to come over and play with your train set!
